She was predeceased by: her husband James Raymond Ashbrook; her parents, John Shaw and Eva Shaw (Neiheiser); her son Gary Ashbrook; her grandson C. J. Buchanan; and her brothers, Robert, Timmy, Jack and Buddy.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ashbrook, Sharon Fraser (Dan), Jerry Ashbrook, Janet Buchanan and May Ashbrook (Preston Jackson); and her grandchildren, Patrick, Joe, Mike, Autumn, Robby, Curtis, Carissa, Danny, Rebekah, Michael, Sean, Ismail, Asiah and Dayla. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
