With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon L. Bixler of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, born in Hegins, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 7, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin L. Bixler, Sr. and Blanche Specht Bixler; his siblings, Calvin L. Bixler, II, Earl C. Bixler, Doris Erdman and Alice Klinger; and his granddaughter Julia Bixler.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Holland Bixler; his children, Lois Troutman (George), Steve Bixler, Ray Bixler (Caitlyn) and Maryann Stravous (John); his grandchildren, Molly Troutman, Jesse Troutman, David Bixler, Brian Bixler, Emma Bixler, Jack Bixler, Thomas Bixler, Christina Stravous, Monica Stravous and Gregory Stravous; and his great grandchildren, Eden Jensen and Clifford Jensen, Jr..
