With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. Breitmayer of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 18, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Breitmayer and Florence Breitmayer; his brother Charles Breitmayer (Gus); his parents-in-law, William S. Dempsey and Lottie T. Dempsey; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Burgy (Dee) and William S. Dempsey Jr..

He is survived by: his children, David James Breitmayer (Katelin Breitmayer) of Spring City, Kathryn Anne (Kat) and James Allan Breitmayer (Hannah Metzger) of Downingtown; his granddaughter Isla Layne Breitmayer; and his siblings, Florence O'Donnell (Vince O'Donnell), Marie Curatola, Jerome Breitmayer, John Breitmayer (Lisa Breitmayer), Francis Breitmayer (Christine Scott), Christopher Breitmayer (Nora Breitmayer) and Anne Dempsey. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews as well as countless friends and family.
