He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Rooney, Sr. and Katherine Kilgallin McCaffery; his brother Kevin; his son Mark; his grandson Quinn; and his grandparents, Joe and Kay Rooney.
He is survived by: his children, Chris, Shauna (McGing), Debra (Kaup), Mike and Eileen (Graves).
