The passing of James Joseph Toner of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, born in Paoli, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 54. He was predeceased by: his brother Ranney McCartney (Dorothy Cushing); and his friend Tabitha Cleveland. He is survived by: his parents, Edward Robert Toner (Patricia) and Barbara Jane Toner (Smith); his parent-in-law Gene Blevins of Downingtown; his sisters, MaryJane McCartney of Jacksonville, FL., Kim Napoli (Gary) of Coatesville and Mischelle Ceulers (Brian) of Coatesville; his close friend Shelia Griffith of Downingtown; and also Thomas Toner (Julie) of Parkesburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, stepchildren, grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donohue Funeral Home - Downingtown (43 W Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Friends of Parker Dam or any local SPCA.
