He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayes R. Carr, Sr. and Melva Zynn Carr. He is survived by: his wife Helen Anne Pannebaker Carr; his children, Steven H. Carr of East Brandywine and Barbara E. Carr of Lionville; his granddaughters, Amy C. Staas and Rebecca A. Staas; and his sister Ruby A. Rettew of South Carolina.
