He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel "Rick" Gindin and Ruth Gindin; and his siblings, Nancy Gindin, Diane Miller and Jeff.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gindin; his son Josh Gindin of Thorndale; his stepdaughters, Kelly McCool (Thomas) of West Bradford and Robyn Wood (Jake Morthland) of West Chester; his grandchildren, Joshua Caleb Gindin, Chelsea Hoynak (Jonathan), Megan Udinski (Seth), Matt McCool (Lauren Follis), Donovan Wood, Avery Wood and Jada Morthland; his great grandchildren, Anders, Rocco, Brooks Hoynak, Eloise and Josiah Udinski; his nieces and nephews, Chrissy Scharf (Jordan), Amy Gallagher (Pat), Scott Ryan (Micki), Kevin Miller (Kelly), Justin Gindin (Amy) and Linda Kogan of Colorado; and his sister-in-law Linda Gindin.
