Derek Samuels Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2022, at the age of 83, Derek Samuels of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, born in Croydon, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Samuels and Ena Samuels (Bennett). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Samuels (Matol); his daughters, Sarah Samuels (Stephen Mueller) of Downingtown, Jennifer Erbe (Joshua Erbe) of Dagsboro, DE and Amy Samuels (Jason Schultz) of Elverson; his brother Graham Samuels (Sandra); and his grandchildren, Landen Erbe, Otto Mueller, Bennett Erbe, Porter Mueller, Aislyn Schultz, Autumn Erbe and Mason Schultz.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rotary Club of Thorndale Downingtown, an organization that Derek supported for many years.
