He was predeceased by: his wife Miriam Ross Whiting; his parents, John Whiting and Grace Mahoney Whiting; his son Chuck Whiting; his grandson Tyler Willard; and his siblings, Peter Whiting, Joan Moore, Joyce Mahr, Shirley Barret and Nancy Taylor.
He is survived by: his son Richard Whiting of Downingtown; his grandchildren, Victoria Willard (Brian) and Kelly Abrahamsen (Christian); and his great grandchildren, Jaden, Joel, Jack, Parker and Dawson.
