He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Johnson, Sr. and Virginia Johnson (Coover); and his sister Valerie Steely. He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Johnson (Hagen); his sister Jane Patton (Fred) of Florida; his niece Lucy Patton; his son Jerry D'Hulster of Florida; his grandson Nicholas D'Hulster of Colorado; and his pets, Lil Lil and Ginny. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
