He was predeceased by: his wife Jolene L. Smallwood (Markey); his parents, James D. Sr. Smallwood and Ida M. Smallwood (Case); his daughter Dorene L. Bennett; and his siblings, Edward, James Jr., Robert, Charles Smallwood, Etta Warner, Helen Miller and Naomi Astor.
He is survived by: his son Darren E. Smallwood of Dover; his son-in-law James A. Bennett of Spring Grove; his sister-in-law Karen S. Spangler (Robert) of Spring Grove; and his grandchildren, Alex Bennett of Spring Grove, Jenna Smallwood of Germany and Emily Smallwood of King.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Ec Church (833 Stoverstown Rd, York, PA 17408).
