He was predeceased by: his father Edwin Swavely. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughters, Jan Shain (Timothy), Leah Nishwitz (Jake) and Heather Swavely; his mother Marshella; and his sisters, Debbie, Vickie and Nancy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
