He is survived by: his sister Virginia D. Strobel of Erie; and his children, Thomas, Daniel, David, Stephen and Jane Marie Gay. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and 9 step-great-grandchildren.
