He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Hosler and Mary Catherine Hosler (Shur); his stepmother Carrie Fernbaugh; his grandson Joshua; his siblings, Wilmer, Merle, Joseph, Melvin, Laura Becker and Jane Penley; his stepsiblings, Ruth McGuire and Joseph Fernbaugh; and his foster brother Austin Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Hosler (Bricker); his children, Mark Hosler (Susan), Karen Hosler (Ronald Lebowitz), Robin Fiola (Vince) and Eric Hosler; his grandchildren, Stephen Hosler (Amy), Benjamin Hosler (Christina), Rebekah Hosler, Micah, Rachel Lebowitz, Kari Flynn (Ryan), Elizabeth Fiola (Jamie Yakscoe), Hanna Fiola and Jacob Hosler; and his sisters, Ada Kuhn and Marlene Billman.
