It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clair Markle (Dover, Pennsylvania), born in Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 24, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob H. Markle and Florence E. Markle (Sharp); and his brothers, Ralph, Marlin and Vernon Markle.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Sands (Rodger) of Dover, Lester Markle of Stewartstown and Betsy Roth (David) of Spring Grove; his grandchildren, Kevin Sands and Suzanne (Roth); his great grandchildren, Ellie and Clara Hoffman; and his siblings, Dean Sr., Gerald Markle, Fred Markle and Freda Stump. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
