He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lonnie Hocker, Harvey Hocker, Dorothy Teague and Shirley Davis. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Kathleen M. Hocker; his siblings, Emma Lou Allen, Ida Caddel and Thomas Hocker; his children, Cynthia (Michael), Kristen (John) and Matthew (Beth); his grandchildren, Sarah (Tony), Amanda (Darrell), Katherine, Alexander, Gabrielle, Jacob, Madilynn and John Peter (JP); and also, Kathleen, Mary Murphy, Anthony, Abraham, Everett, Wyatt, Garrett, Scarlett and Maxwell.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to either Immaculate Conception.
