He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Olga Serba (Corbett); and his parents, Theodore Serba and Harriett Serba (Ustaszewski). He is survived by: his brother Theodore Serba, Jr. (late Janet); his daughters, Wendy A. Lawrence (William) and Stacy Serba (Kevin Kercher); his grandchildren, Amanda Ulrey (Richard), Corbett Lawrence, Katherine Kercher, KerryLyn Kercher and Kelly Ianiero (Brendon); and his great grandchildren, Perrin Ulrey, Corbett Ulrey, Avery Lawrence and Arden Lawrence.
