He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Lou Koch (Reidinger) and Harry Lenhart Koch; and his sons, Clifford Lewis Koch, Kristopher Alan Koch and Brian Thomas Koch.

He is survived by: his siblings, Beverly Jean Niehls (Mark), Rosalie Lou Lefurge (Scott) and Kevin Christopher Koch (Linda). He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews.

He faithfully watched the church's services on Zoom and Facebook throughout the pandemic.
