We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2019, at the age of 89, Elizabeth Betty Johnston (Douglassville, Pennsylvania), born in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Slocum and Elizabeth Slocum; her husband Arthur Johnston; her children, Stephen Johnston (Faith), Kathleen Quiqley (Bruce) and Gary Johnston (Karen); and her grandchildren, Adam Johnston (Jami), Matt Johnston (Allison), David Quigley (Cassie), Jarrod Quigley (Kate), Katie Dukes (Barry), Kyle Johnston (LeAnn) and Cotter Johnston (Emily).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to New Hope UMC, Penns Grove in Betty's name.
