He was predeceased by: his parents, Maude B. Ftorski (Rhone) and Alexander Ftorski. He is survived by: his wife Ann D Ftorski (Hassler); his children, Marjorie (Steve Hudyma) and Alexander E. Ftorski of Jacksonville, NC.; his grandchildren, Garrett, Jaelin Hudyma and Liam Ftorski; his niece Sue Trimbe (Rob); and his nephews, Bruce and Craig Lamonaca. He is also survived by great niece, two great nephews, a great great niece, two great great nephews, and one great great great nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to any of the following: Boy Scout Troop 597, c/o Rick Henry, 261 Lanie Drive, Birdsboro, PA 19508.

“Ed was our down the road neighbor, but we really got to know him through working the election polls. Ed and Ann never miss the opportunity to vote. There in conversation, we found out how active Ed has been in the Boy Scouts; we started having regular conversations at the polls about the military, patriotism, his family and his past career. This past primary he didn't come in and I was in the process of writing a card to him. I am sorry to hear this sadness. Ed will surely be missed.”
