He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Curran and Mary Curran; his son Joseph Curran; his grandson Brett; and his siblings, William Curran, Francis Curran, Sara Benn and Monica Gillen.
He is survived by: his friends, Heidi, Gretel, Katie, Jesse and Dixie; his wife Alice Curran; his children, David Curran (Amy), Bill Curran, Alan J. Curran (Alice Johnson-Curran) and Alison Myer (Scott); his grandchildren, Bill, Chris, Courtney, Michael, Sean, David Jr., Bobby, Matthew, Mackenzie, Hope and Davis; his great grandchildren, Rory and Reagan; and his sister Mary Jo Morris.
