It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Horton of Douglassville, Pennsylvania, born in Plymouth, North Carolina, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles H. Horton and Rosa Lee Hedgbeth; his children, Charles Horton Jr. (Felicia), Dawn Cassandra "Dandy" Sloan and Pamela Sloan-Nathan (William); and his grandchildren, Shondel Bianca Sloan, Sarah Horton, Alexander Horton, Sierra Horton and Aaliyah Sloan-Nathan.
