He is survived by: his sons, Calvin D. Shaner, Dan (Tracey Shaner) and Randy Shaner; his close friends, Alisha Leyland, Vicki Shaner, Barry Shaner and Russell Shaner; his stepchildren, Rick McIntyre and Karen McIntyre; his brother Larry Shaner; and his grandchildren, Evan, Kira, Kaylin, Gavin, Haden, Sebastion, Chrystian, Lexie, Cassidee and Hailey.
