He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman E. Kahler and Mildren S. Kahler (Mattern); his grandson Aaron Deitrich; and his siblings, Guy, Roy Kahler and Barbara Snyder.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kahler (Jones); his children, Debra Eisenhart (John) of Middleburg, Sheila Deitrich (John) of Hegins and Ty Kahler (Heather Michael) of Bellefonte, PA; and his brothers, Charles and Paul Kahler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
