He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Katherine Simons (Pickering) and James Alexander Simons; his aunts and uncles, Agnes, Mary Ann Simons, Edward, Rhys, Rebecca (Reba) and Ralph Pickering; his brothers, James P. Simons and William W. Simons; his granddaughter Robin Elizabeth Davis; and his son Thomas Walter Simons.
He is survived by: his former wife Sheila Marie Garner; his wife Julie L. Buck; his stepson Bradley C. Frederick; his daughters, Mary Katherine "Katie" Davis (Andrew) of Chickasha, OK and April Louise Whistler (Jason) of Watsontown, PA; his brother John P. Simons of Los Angeles; his nephews, James, John Walter and Matthew Simons; and his grandson Luke Andrew Davis. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, many good friends and dogs.
