She was predeceased by: her parents, James Andrew Gildea and Armella Catherine Goldbach; and her siblings, James Gildea (Linda), Robert Gildea, Ruth Shissler (Harry), Lucille Settelmaier (Eugene) and Kathleen.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald (Suzanne) and Dormont Pool; her grandchildren, Angela, Leslie, Tami, Jennifer, Travis, Sarah, Andrew, Sofia, Julia, Majed and Nasser; and her children, Kimberly Day (Steven) and Joseph Robert (Natherah). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mission at Immaculate Conception Church, PO Box 1705, Clinton, NC 28329.
