He was predeceased by: his grandson Charles; his parents, Vincent Joos and Gertrude Joos; and his sister Lois Sanctis. He is survived by: his spouse Jan Joos; his children, Thomas Joos (Angel) and Daniel Joos (Karen); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Lance, Cloe, Dylan and Danielle.
