She was predeceased by: her husband Christopher A.; and her sister Annie Fazio. She is survived by: her children, Christopher A., Jr. Dedes (Joanne), Richard A. Dedes, Ronald M. Dedes (Patricia), Louise Dedes Torris and Annette Fawcett (Eric); and her siblings, Ross Mitchell, Philip Mitchell, Anthony "Nino" Mitchell, Salvatore Thomas Mitchell, Johanna Encrapera, Frances Mineo and Rose Marie Viola. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
