He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lois; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his sons, John S. (Cheryl), Ronald (Cheryl), Gary and Richard "Ricky" (Jeannine); and his siblings, Jackie O'Patchen, George O'Patchen, Maryann Tamburo, Andrew and Evelyn. He is also survived by grandchildren and 11 cherished great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family suggests memorial contributions to Brookline Christian Food Bank, 1036 Brookline Blvd., Pgh., PA 15226.
