It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome J. Segal (Dormont, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 28, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Monica; his sons, Eric (Karen), Lee (Susie) and Evan (Tracy); his stepchildren, Deirdre O'Hearn, Steve O'Hearn (Demmler Schenk) and Kirsten O'Hearn (Eric Donny); his grandchildren, Ben Segal (Feliz Molina), Jessica Segal, Tess Segal DePaula (Marcus), Ariel Segal Eck (Chris), Julia Segal, Jory Segal and Audrey Donny; his sister Esther Fuhrman (Bob); and his friend Maureen Williams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jerry is preceded in death (Z"L) by his parents (Harry and Lena Segal), his sister (Annette Wolfson), his first wife (Harriet) and his granddaughter (Emily Segal). Services will be at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Friday at 1 PM. Visitation two hours prior to services, (11 AM - 1 PM). Interment at Homewood Cemetery. Shiva will be held at the Jewish Community Center, 5738 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 on Friday night (for one night only) from 6:00-8:00 PM.
