Daniel J. Murphy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel J. Murphy of Dormont, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 20, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son James; and his parents, James Murphy and Ruth Murphy (Graves). He is survived by: his wife Joyce K. Murphy (Carvlin); and his children, John (Rose), Maureen Lucas (late Frederick), Bernard, Terrance, Mary, Meghan Porco (Anthony), Christine Schramm (David), Dennis and Katherine Gross. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Bernard Church (St. Michael the Archangel Parish) (311 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15216). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
If desired, memorials may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
