It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Pihota of Donora, Pennsylvania, born in New Eagle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gust and Lila Metzler Mason; her husband John Pihota; her siblings, Connie Mason Radic, James Mason and Gary Gust; and her stepfather John Mason Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Karen Gula and Robert Gula; her grandchildren, Chelsey, Lucas, Branson, Victoria and Mark; and her siblings, Sandra Gnora (Terry), Annette Winters (Wesley), Patricia Peck (George), Ed Gust, Jack Mason (Alma) and Ron Mason (Kathy).
To be socially responsible during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, we will continue to limit the attendance to 25 people inside the funeral home at any given time. Guests are asked to obey social distancing guidelines and personal protection guidelines which include masks within the funeral home.
