He is survived by: his wife Irma Henry Fretz; his children, Linda Copeland (Kevin) of Speers Hill, Lori Savko (Dean) of Monessen and Robert Fretz, Jr. (Janice) of Fallowfield Township; his grandchildren, Jessica Taylor (Chris), Jerad Fretz and Michael Copeland; his great grandchildren, Alayna, Lucas and Logan Taylor; and his sisters, Karen Fretz and Shirley Pelkey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
