She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Elwood and Jane Elizabeth Smith (Duncan); her husband Elmer; her daughter Deborah Seefried; her brothers, Robert, Gary, Charles "Lloyd" and Ronald Smith; and her brother-in-law George Rudge.
She is survived by: her children, David E. Newman (Karen) of Monongahela, PA, Diane L. Connors (Russell) of Elizabeth, PA, Douglas R. Newman (Debra) of Finleyville, PA and Daniel L. Newman (Tracy) of Donora, PA.; her grandchildren, Heather Seefried (Kelsey) of Christina Williamson, DJ, Brandon Newman (Samantha), Joseph Palmer (Nikki), Patrick Connors (Courtney), Douglas Newman (Kara) and Deanna Hess (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Christian Williamson, Aribella Newman, Arryana Newman, Tierney Newman, Brian Tuttle, Cameron Burns, Peyton Burns, Finnegan Connors and Presley Connors; her sisters, Lola Rudge and Annette Maurer (Robert); her son-in-law James Seefried; and her nephews, Howard and Elmer Newman. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. (40 2nd Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Valley Memorial Park (49 2nd Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033).
