It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles E. Smith of Donora, Pennsylvania, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Smith and Tamara Laun Smith; his son Charles E. Smith Jr.; his siblings, Jane Hnatik, Tamara McKosky and Robert W. Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Hnatik and Gerald McKosky.
He is survived by: his wife Debra L. Smith (Kassa); his children, Justin Smith (Shellie) of Eighty-Four and Kaley Madison (Jarrod) of Monessen; his grandchildren, Amiya Law, Anthony Law Jr., Amauri Law, Addyson Smith and Mila Smith; his siblings, Olga Smith of Fallowfield Twp and Jimmy Smith (Carol) of Lynnwood; and his sister-in-law Penny Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
To be socially responsible during this time of the increase in Covid-19 cases due to the new variants, we will continue to require guests to obey social distancing guidelines and personal protection guidelines which include masks within the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Donora Youth Baseball Association.
