She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Smith and Marie O'Donnell Smith; her husband Thomas B. Matsick; her children, Thomas B. Matsick Jr. and Susan Fafalios; and her siblings, Helen Marche and John A. Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Anna Marie Gaskill, Pamela Lynn and Michael Matsick (Terri); and her sister Mary Shipley. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten Great Grandchildren; nine Great Great Grandchildren.
