In loving memory of David E. VanDyke of Distant, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on February 15, 2025 at the age of 67. David leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel M. VanDyke (Shields) and Dale C. VanDyke; and his siblings, Thomas VanDyke, Karen Waldenville, Dorothy Wiester and Nora Kiem.
He is survived by: his son Chad VanDyke (Rhonda) of East Brady; his siblings, Nancy Craig of Freeport, Dianne Ratcliff of Las Vegas, NV, Herbert VanDyke (Vicki) of Witchita, KS, Larry VanDyke (Sharon) of Aspinwall and James VanDyke (Ginger) of Wisconsin; and his niece Annie Fenstermaker of New Bethlehem.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. (524 High St, Freeport, PA 16229). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
