He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Cron and Lillian O. Cron (Smith); and his sister Doris M. Cron. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Findlay Cron (Bobbie); and his sons, Charles L. and Robert L. of Burbank, California..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dingmans Ferry-Delaware Township Historical Society, 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania 18328.
