It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Ward Probst of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benjamin and Mary Helen Probst (Kunes). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his children, Matthew C. Probst of Shiremanstown and Molly Susannah Shortridge of Dillsburg; his sisters, Carmen Kohr (Richard) of Mechanicsburg and Elaine Probasco (Virgil) of Trout Run; and his grandchildren, Gracie Shortridge of Baltimore and James Shortridge of Carlisle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "The Otter Run Fish and Game Club", and sent to ORC Treasurer, Chip Todd, 2012 Blackbird Circle Audubon, PA 19403.
