He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Stuart Herrider and Lillian Watkins Herrider; and his grandparents, B. V. and Mary Lyons. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anspach Waggoner; his daughters, Angela and Melinda; and his stepson G. Timothy Waggoner. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
