He was predeceased by: his brother Charles Shiner. He is survived by: his wife Sandra R. Hoffman Shiner; his son David C. Shiner; his daughter-in-law Lisa Shiner of Camp Hill; his daughter Jill L. Heatherly; his son-in-law William Heatherly of Mechanicsburg; his grandchildren, David J. Shiner, Jessica Milligan, Jamie Pfortsch and William Ronald Heatherly; and his great grandchildren, Aydia, Chase, Emitt, Harper, Hayden, Carter and Greyson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials in Ron's name to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305.
