He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd J. Sowers and Sara Graham Sowers. He is survived by: his children, David L. Sowers (Cathy) of Carlisle, Timothy J. Sowers (Melody) of Dillsburg and Melissa M. Sowers of Fredericksburg, VA.; and his sisters, Gloria Deihl of Carlisle and Sharon Hammaker of Clarks Summit.
