James C. Byers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2024, at the age of 88, James C. Byers of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Shiremanstown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Galen Byers and Bertha Byers (Eichelberger); and his wife Phyllis J. Byers (Schmuck). He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Thomma of Fairfax Station, VA, Cheryl Bednar of Titusville, FL and Joan Fullard of Mechanicsburg; his grandchildren, Jack Thomma, Jim Thomma, Ryan Thomma, Corey Fullard and Melissa Fullard; and his stepchildren, Jeffrey Brough of Lewisberry and Sherry Hejmanowski. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church, St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 South Baltimore St., Dillsburg, PA 17019.
