He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Nailor and Grace Crumlich Nailor; his son Leon E. Nailor; and his siblings, Harry, Charlotte, Sandra, Caroline, Robert and Rosella.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth E. Kaltreider-McCoy; his children, Joseph L. Nailor of Spring Grove, Linda L. Hennessey of Mechanicsburg and Jack S. Nailor of Dillsburg; his siblings, Esther Thomas of Texas, Roy of Dillsburg and Gerald Nailor of Dillsburg; his grandchildren, Tunya Kimmel, Melissa Shirk, Leon Nailor, Jr., Richard Hennessey, Chasity Sultzbaugh, Jason Hennessey, Nicole Nailor, Shane Nailor, Billy Schaller and William Nailor; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Hunter, Carlee, Ashley, Leon III, Sebastian, Colton, Landon, Alex, Logan, Chad, Audrey and Molly; and his great great grandchildren, Ellie, Jackson, Weston and Braiden.
