She was predeceased by: her spouse Claude W. Metzger; her parents, Russell Smith and Edna Smith (Gallagher); her children, Barry L. Metzger and Patricia A. Metzger; her granddaughter Amy Myers; and her sisters, Beatrice Neidhammer, Evelyn McGaughey, Verna Karns and Lois Yohn.
She is survived by: her children, Claude E. of Dillsburg, Michael R. Metzger (Lisa) of Dillsburg, Diane M. DeHaven (Earl) of Abbottstown and Kimberly A. Nace (Eric) of Carlisle; her brother Martin E. Smith of Bowmansdale; her grandchildren, Teresa Jones, Kayla Nace, Tristan Metzger, Cora Donelly and Tony Metzger; and her great grandchildren, Kyle Jones, Shaun Jones, Joshua Myers and Andrea Myers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc. (30 N Chestnut St, Dillsburg, PA 17019). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, Bowmansdale Church of God, 101 East Lisburn Rd., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
