It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris Sherrerd (Dillsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Clinton, New Jersey, who passed away on January 12, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Sherrerd and Gertrude Sherrerd; his daughters, Christie Gehman (Anthony) of Lititz and Mary Beth Lewis (Edward) of Michigan; his stepchildren, Karen Geidel (Virgil) of Boiling Springs and Max L. Gibney, Jr. of Carlisle; his former wife Dorothy Jane Apgar; and his brothers, Jack Sherrerd and Morris Sherrerd. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren; and several cousins.
