He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patty Jo Pierson Green (Carpenter) of Point Marion and Elvin Lee Pierson; his wife Nellie Pierson (McQuain); his daughters, Stephanie Nickelson (Eric) and Amber Pierson (Bobby Clemmer); his grandchildren, Austin, Elizabeth, Megan, Hayden and Trenton; his sister Becky Swagger of Spring Hill, Florida; his stepmother Phyllis Pierson of Cowan; his half-brothers, Richard Martin of Wooster and Roger Dillon of Canton; and his sister-in-law Nettie Carpenter (Donzel) of Morgantown. He was also cherished by loving nieces and nephews.
