She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Gunter; her parents, William Towers and Eleanor Turock Towers; and her brother William "Bill" Towers. She is survived by: her sister Susan Abrahams (Jay) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her nephew Taylor William Abrahams of Gaithersburg, MD; her aunts, Helen Madsen of Batavia, IL and Betty McKinney of Batavia, IL; and her uncle Dr. Michael Turock (Jayne) of Clark Summit.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank T Mazur Funeral Home (601 Dundaff St, Dickson City, PA 18519). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home (601 Dundaff St, Dickson City, PA 18519).
