He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Zumblauskas; and his parents, Edward John and Helen Preambo Barthold. He is survived by: his children, Martin Barthold Jr. (Melaine), Patricia A. Reese, Donna Ogden and Christine Tina Washo (George); his siblings, Edward Barthold (Ruth) and MaryAnn Mecca (William); and his great grandchild Billy Ritter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
