She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas W. Sohns; her parents, James Smith and Anna Elston Smith; and her brothers, James and Arthur Smith.

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas H. Sohns (Dorothy), Robert Sohns (Carol) and Scott Sohns; her grandchildren, Virginia of Scranton, Cory Sohns of Scranton and Jessica Sohns of Scranton; and her brother Joseph Smith.
